Too funny morning laugh!

So this morning Ervy is in the privy taking care of business and asked me for his reading glasses.  He was attempting to read the toilet paper package, which living in an RV you want biodegradable type.  Some of the wording was in Spanish, which he can't read, that starts the laughter begin.  He has now informed me that our choice of TP is OK to use!  This is the very important information he has read "This is good stuff!  There are 60% more sheeits per roll and it is recyclable!". I will be laughing every time I use the facilities from now on!

Happy Valentines Day 2014

Not only am I glad to share a great Valentine's Day with an Amazing Hubby, but also our 22 yr Anniversary!  Time flies by so fast and in this span of time so many wonders have been packed into every moment!   We added the birth of 2 sons to the 2 we already had, growing and selling of 2 businesses, fight with Hodgkin's Disease and win, birth of our Granddaughter and now RETIREMENT!  Of course all the little disagreements can't count, they are a part of life!  Each and every day is a blessing with new and precious moments happening that will never be experienced again!  Enjoy each other!  The time will too soon come when we will truly be in God's hands!

It's about time!

Wow!  That's about it!  This week will finally require tank tops and shorts!  Well I've been wearing them since we got here, but now I won't get funny looks for having them on.  When we got here December 17th I put my winter coat in the closet and vowed NOT to get it out again.  I have held true to that pledge.  Occasionally, at Ervy's insistence I had to wear my hoodie or at least take it along.  At night he goes out to have a CIG all bundled up, hoddie and winter coat!  See being "fluffy" has paid off!  This week we are looking at temps in the lower 80s and later pushing 90!  Glad it is not humid here.  Feel sorry for the kids, still so very cold in Wisconsin.  Well I'm back to the outside for a little more sun!  Keep warm friends!

Ultimate and Unquestionable Trust

Have you ever thought about ULTIMATE TRUST? 

  If you are a parent, our baby just drops off to sleep trusting that you will keep him/her safe and warm during their nap.  Your child trust that you will feed them as well as keeping them safe from harm.  Pet owners - your pet gives you love and affection for trusting you will feed them and give them shelter.

  For us:  What could that trust be?  I'm thinking that for me that would be each night when I go to bed.  I put my ultimate and unquestionable trust that GOD will keep me safe and wake me up.  After all each night I pray: 
                 Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord  my soul to keep, Guide me safely through the night and WAKE me with the morning light! 

Bad Hair Day?!

Not that I'm bragging, but I almost daily have some comment on my "spikey" hair. WOW, who cut it and what do you do to get it to spike?  I even had 2 fellows recently ask me, one at the desk at Tucson VA and the last at Dairy Queen. lol.  Saturday night at the Rec Center a lady asked me the same questions.  After I told her, I said come on over to our spot and I'll just show you.  Well, yesterday we happened to meet in the Laundry!  I ran (sorta) back to our 5th Wheel to grab the secret ingredient (Hard UP by Short n Sexy Hair).  So there we were 2 little old ladies playing beauty parlor in the laundry room.  Actually I think her hair turned out pretty nice.  Hers is a bit longer than mine so it didn't spike to much, but the goop did fluff up her hair nicely.  lol   A couple ladies had stopped by and thought it looked good.  Our biggest concern, naturally, was "Hope the Hubby likes it!" 
 So much FUN being a little old lady - Don't care anymore what others think!

Great things today!

February 2nd will ALWAYS be the day of GREAT HAPPENINGS!  Everyone knows today is Groundhog Day!  It also happens to be Superbowl Sunday (Go Broncos, only cause the packers aren't there).  But most importantly,for the past 21 years it is our son Cody's birthday!  I can't believe it has been that many years already.  His birth fits right with "The Big Game".  After 23 hours of labor, when it was time our doctor had to literally catch the pass!  Good thing he was a skinny little poop!  Weighing in at only 6 lbs 2 oz he was the only Groundhog born in Berlin, WI in 1993!  This year an added bonus is the 6 month anniversary of he and SAMANTHA being together!  Love those 2!

Touristing!

There is so much to see around this area of Arizona!  If you are into history that's a bonus.  Our first excursion was off to the Chirachua National Park.  It was Incredible!  Normal entrance fee is $10 per person, BUT we got a discount.  The National Park system offers Patron Cards at $80 for 1 years entrance to all the parks and $10 for Seniors.  Our discount came at $0 for LIFETIME entrances.  Anyone that is 100% disabled, like my hubby classified by the VA. So COOL! 

The Chirachua Mountains are just breath taking!  Both of us oooohh and aaaahhh  our way to the top AND all the way back down.  That is if you like mountains.  I can't believe I met a couple in the laundry here in the park and the fellow commented that "If you've seen 1 mountain you've seen them all."  NOT!  There is soo much character and color with each little hump!  From our park we have The Dragoons to the east, when the sun sets the colors reflected back at us is incredible and different each day!
